What You Need To Know About Our Services, Customisations, Deliveries & more
- Images which are transferred onto a flatlay board surface are required to be of extremely high quality. Darkroom Design accepts no responsibility for substandard results in the event of a poor outcome where clients supply images and artwork of an unsatisfactory quality.
We will however advise clients prior to printing that artwork is not of a sufficiently high standard to ensure that clients are aware that the outcome may not be to their satisfaction.
- There will be an additional charge levied for fully customised flatlay boards. We will provide a quotation based on the client’s briefing to be approved in writing by the client prior to the start of artwork.
- Due to the nature of printing processes and the strata onto which flatlay boards are printed, the finished board’s colours may differ from what you see on your screen. Computer screens are rendered in RGB colours as opposed to printing processes which are rendered in CMYK which is why there may be slight to significant colour differences. If you feel uncertain about the final outcome of your flatlay board we would be very happy to print a proof in CMYK and send it to you at cost to client for approval.
- We will provide you with a final proof in the case of customised flatlay boards to be signed off prior to finalisation after which Flat Lay Design carries no responsibility for spelling errors. If a reprint is required this will be for cost to client.
- Lead time on orders which have been finalised and paid for is generally 7-10 days but may be longer during the Festive Season. We will keep clients informed via our website.
- All customised orders may take a longer lead time than 7 to 10 days for delivery and may incur additional charges which will be quoted for before finalisation. You will be contacted directly and kept fully informed.
- When placing your order, you must provide a telephone number and email address on which you can be reached during the day. This will help to minimise any delays in delivery.
- Flat Lay Design will arrange delivery via courier at their sole discretion. A valid signature will be required upon receipt of all deliveries to a residential address.
- We charge a minimum rate for logo/branding of existing flatlay boards available on our website provided you supply us with your logo/artwork in our prescribed formats. Upload your logo/branding in the prescribed format when you place your order online. A custom fee will be quoted and charged for the creation of any new artwork.
Artwork must be supplied in either editable PDF, AI or CDR.Due to the annual closure of our factory, Darkroom Design will be limited in taking customized orders but will resume full production for custom orders early January.
